Bosty Fields was founded by local couple Dave and Sara, lifelong dog lovers who shared their home with a lively pack of eight English Setters and a blind Pointer.
Their aim was simple: to give dogs the opportunity to live happy, healthy lives.
Why Bosty Fields Began
Four of Dave and Sara's dogs were rescued from Europe, making secure off-lead exercise and recall training especially important.
After travelling long distances to use secure dog fields themselves, they decided local dog owners deserved a place closer to home.
They invested their savings into transforming former grazing land into Bosty Fields—a safe, private space where dogs can run freely and owners can enjoy complete peace of mind.
Daves Legacy
Sadly, Dave passed away suddenly in May 2023.
Today, Sara proudly continues his legacy as Mrs Bosty, running Bosty Fields with the same passion and dedication they shared from the very beginning.
She is supported by a fantastic team of volunteers and our on-site Team Leader, Kelly Willetts, who help make every visit a welcoming experience.
Dave's vision lives on through the community that Bosty Fields has become and the thousands of dogs that continue to enjoy the freedom he helped create.
